As you move across the game board, you'll encounter empty green tiles that could trigger an Opponent Challenge or MLB The Show 25 Stubs Mini-Boss Showdown. These events will task you with performing specific actions, such as tallying stats or taking the lead in a mini-game.
Benefits of Winning Events
Increase Reward Chances: Winning an event increases your chances of earning Rare and Epic rewards, usually by 3% or 6%.
Perks: Winning grants Perks that provide buffs for your stadium challenge. These buffs will make the final stadium challenge easier.
Penalties: Losing an event results in Penalties, making your final challenge more difficult.

Perks: These buffs will be maintained throughout the quest, so stack them up to make the final stadium challenge easier.
Penalties: Penalties expire after you complete subsequent events. While penalties will make things harder, you can always regain ground in future events.
